iphone 6 no image and cpu area getting hot.

hi all.
i have an iphone 6 with no image .phone is getting recognised by itunes but in dfu mode.customer said phone was dropped .found a short on PP5V7_LCM_AVDDH (cap 2070).replaced cap and still no image .tested voltage on PP1V8_LCM_CONN for 1.8v and am only getting 1.02v.tested also PP1V8 line and getting exactly same voltage 1.02v (filter fl2027) .anybody some advice where to check from here to narrow down fault .thank you

Maybe there is a partial short on the pp1v8 line. May be difficult to find... Try freezing it down and look what is getting hot first.

cpu area getting very hot espicially .have since found full short on PP1V8_SDRAM which is why i think itunes recognises it in dfu mode.used freeze spray around getting hot around c1243 on bottom side of board and directly above it c1293 both pp1v8 sdram. removed c1293 and short still there .L1216 also has PP1V8_SDRAM but no ground on other side just PP_BUCK3_LX.

If u pull L1216, u can messure on which side the short to ground is located. Had this on an 5s, turned out to be a dead pmic...

Removed l1216 from board and tested on both pads.short is on the PP1V8_SDRAM side .looking to narrow short down ?
